Orienteering

Orienteering is the sport of navigation, using map skills to find a series of checkpoints.
You'll learn the skills needed to read the landscape and navigate the woodland before heading off as a team to explore.
Orienteering turns a simple walk in the woods into an exciting challenge with a mix of physical activity, mental agility and teamwork.
Learning application
Teamwork and Team building skills through the practical application of Kolb's experiential learning cycle. This will help to develop methods and ways to tackle problems that pupils can transfer to everyday life and future work skills by applying a "plan, do and review" approach.
